MicrowaveRouter^® Product family

The WLS MicrowaveRouter^® product range enables deployment of microwave wireless backhaul networks to carry traffic in packet based networks (Wifi, WiMAX, LTE), video networks (DVB-H) or fixed line networks (micro DSLAM), reducing operators’ CAPEX and OPEX.
Access networks running WiMAX can be connected directly to the WLS through a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The WLS products can be deployed in various topologies, linear, ring and tree configurations but also in a meshed configuration for enhanced resiliency and an optimum use of the overall bandwidth deployed.
The WLS products are ready for an open application service layer which includes the capability to develop and deploy triple play services by leveraging the advanced capabilities of the 3Route^® software via an optional Software Development Kit.
The WLS is configurable through the 3Route^® software, enabling the use of feature rich protocols and software configurable modems which can be loaded on a “pay as you grow” basis. The 3Route^® software includes all network security features such as user access authentication and management access firewall. Management of the WLS products can be integrated with the overall operator IP/MPLS management tools, simplifying the overall network maintenance.
